Old town Georgetown has some of the most impressive working class buildings you will find in Washington State. Home of the original Seattle Brewing and Malting Company (creator of the famous Rainier Beer), Georgetown has always been a community centered around beer. Located adjacent to the Duwamish River, this district was Seattle's first home grown industry besides resource extraction. Julius Horton and the Bertoldi Family were among the first few to develop the land as we see it today.
